Over 20 local Kingston restaurants have created prix fixe menu options consisting of two or three-course dinners, casual lunches, and meals for the whole family for only $45. Regardless of what type of cuisine you’re in the mood for, there is a menu available that is sure to satisfy your craving.
Which Restaurants are Participating?
For a casual lunch, you can choose a hot hamburger sandwich dinner for two from Harper’s Burger Bar, complete with deep-fried pickles and a chocolate brownie. Many restaurants such as Bella Bistro allow you to select your choice of an appetizer and a main and do the rest of the thinking for you. Atomica will cure your gourmet pizza craving, while Mesa Fresca or Dianne’s Fish Shack & Smokehouse will indulge your tastebuds with Mexican flavors.

Virtual Events: Tastings & Tutorials
As part of Kingstonlicious, a few local restaurants have taken their tastings and culinary experiences online, allowing you to partake from home and up your foodie game by learning from the pros.
1) Northside Aeropress Gift Pack & Espresso Tutorial
NORTHSIDE espresso + kitchen has created a Aeropress gift package, complete with an AeroPress Go coffee machine and specialized Ameuus coffee filter. The set also comes with espresso martini cocktails for two, handcrafted espresso bitters, and Guatemalan coffee blend Monogram’s San Pedro Necta Espresso. But if you’re not sure how to utilize these ingredients to craft a gourmet espresso, Cade of Northside will walk you through how to make the perfect AeroPress Coffee and an espresso martini via a video tutorial. 2) Miss Bao Ramen Meal Box x Sake Tasting Experience – February 26, 2021
This one-night-only event will take place on Friday, February 26th, 2021, at 6pm EST. Pick up your three-course meal kit from Miss Bao and join in online while you learn about the history of sake. A sake expert will be providing a tasting lesson along with information about its long history and origins while you enjoy the three sakes and a sake cocktail provided within the kit. Miss Bao has curated a meal to pair beautifully with the profiles of sake, including a pork ramen bowl complete with handmade noodles and roasted pork belly.

3) Daft x Parsons x Sally’s Local Beer Tasting – March 5, 2021
Take home a package of complete with beer from Daft Brewing and Parsons Brewing Company, paired perfectly with six tasting cheeses and two roti of your choice from Sally’s Roti Shop. Then, join Ryan of Daft Brewing and Chris of Parsons Brewing Company via zoom on March 5th, 2021 at 6:30pm for a tasting as they guide you through the various cheese pairings, which originate from Ontario, Quebec, Spain, and Italy. You can also select your choice of chicken, goat, chickpea, or squash roti from Sally’s Roti Shop to enjoy.
